Tempered Glass
Description:
Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt pieces, reducing the risk of injury.
Applications:
Widely used in facades, doors, partitions, windows, and shower enclosures.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Tempered Glass Definition

Tempered glass is a heat-treated safety glass that is approximately 4–5 times stronger than regular annealed glass. It breaks into small, blunt fragments to reduce injury risk.

Thermal shock resistance

Safe breakage pattern

Heat resistance up to 250°C

Applications

Building facades and curtain walls

Glass doors and partitions

Shower rooms and bathroom enclosures

Balustrades, railings, and staircases

Furniture and appliances (e.g. tabletops, oven doors)

Subtypes

Flat tempered glass

Curved tempered glass

Printed tempered glass (with decorative patterns)
